The Mahtomedi Area Green Initiative is a volunteer organization working to reduce the use of nonrenewable, carbon-emitting fuels; produce renewable energy, including wind and solar; and encourage an enduring community commitment to sustainability in communities served by School District 832 in Mahtomedi, Minnesota: Dellwood, Grant, Hugo, Lake Elmo, Mahtomedi, Oakdale, Pine Springs, White Bear Lake and Willernie.
