News from the Gateway Brown’s Creek Trail

Summer is here. Can your next adventure on the Gateway Browns Creek Trail be far behind?

If you’re familiar with the trail, we hope you’ve already had a chance to get out and bike, blade, ride or hike the trail this spring. If not, it’s never too late to start! The 18-mile Gateway Trail, which runs through the Mahtomedi area just east of the new Wildwood School, winds along forests, grasslands and more than 50 protected wetlands.

The new Brown’s Creek Trail intersects the Gateway just south of Minnesota 96 and carries adventurers on a gentle grade to Stillwater and back. All are invited to attend the trail’s Grand Opening event June 6, 10 a.m. at the corner of North Main St. and Laurel St. in Stillwater. To learn more, see GBCTA or go to Gateway-Brown’s Creek Trail Association.
