Spring came right on schedule yesterday with bright sunshine and singing birds and frogs for RITE (Really Into the Earth) of Spring, Mahtomedi’s annual Earth Day celebration. The event focused on the theme of “Water Protection” and included displays on White Bear Lake and rain gardens, environment-themed events and activities, a free market, bicycle safety checks, a tree giveaway, and lots more.
