A big thanks to all who donated to the MAGI Environmental Leadership Award fund on Give to the Max Day November 13. Thanks to you, our community will be able to provide another $1,000 merit-based scholarship to a graduating Mahtomedi High School senior who exemplifies commitment, innovation, and leadership in addressing environmental issues.

Local philanthropists Vicki and Si Ford and their family launched the scholarship  in 2012 with enough funding for three scholarships.

Thanks to our community’s donations, we have been able to continue giving the award. Our goal is to eventually raise enough funds to endow the scholarship in perpetuity.
