Wildwood School playground trees are looking good
On a beautiful spring morning Minnesota Extension Tree Care Advisors Jackie Metelak and Paul Richtman met with MAGi members Paul Hoff and Jeanne Zlonis to assess the health of the trees on the playground at Wildwood Elementary School. These trees were planted in October 2014 funded by MAGI’s “Plant a Tree Grow a Playground” Campaign. Outside of needing a little pruning, the trees look to be in good health and are beginning to provide some shade for the students. Thanks, Paul and Jackie – and thanks to the MAGI and community members who helped to plant these beautiful trees.
