Would you like to be more involved in protecting the environment around you?

The Jaques Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America is forming a Development Committee and reaching out to the Mahtomedi Green Area Green Initiative to invite interested and enthusiastic members to become more active in environmental grassroots efforts in their community.

This committee will:

1. develop outreach materials (membership pamphlets, informational fliers, etc.)

2. connect with other North metro environmental groups to partner on programs and shared member activities

3. think creatively about how to re-energize Jaques member participation

4. update and maintain internet outreach through the website, email newsletter, and social media.

Committee goals are not at all limited to the main ideas above, and we welcome new thinking and interest. This is a great opportunity for those who care about the environment to work with others on connecting and activating an environmental community!
